A7R Series – Labuan Botanical Garden

Labuan Botanical Garden is a popular recreational area among the people of Labuan. There is jogging track, at least two lakes and fitness apparatus. It is also a place to learn flora as there are many different types of trees and plants. I was managed to capture a few pictures of the area but unfortunately I was not able to cover the whole area.

All pictures were shot using Sony A7R with Canon EF 40 mm f2.8 lens mounted on Metabones EF-E adapter. Capture One for Sony was used to process the pictures. Click on any image to browse the images in their original sizes.

Random shots using the excellent Sony ILCE-6000 or better known as A6000 with Canon EF 40 mm lens mounted on Metabone III EF-E adapter. All images captured in manual mode and processed in Capture One Pro for Sony.

Faces of People – Tamparuli

Tamparuli is a small town about 35 km north of Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah. Every Wednesday, flea or open market is held where all kind of things are sold at very reasonable prices. The weekly flea market is one of the attractions in Tamparuli. It is also an opportunity for those who are interested in photography to capture the many faces of people of Tamparuli as many people from all walk of life come to the town every Wednesday.

Many of the sellers are women. They sell a variety of items, local delicacy, local handicraft and many more.
